The Combined Authority itself is constituted from three authorities:
Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Building on a strong track record of partnership working in the
region, the West of England Combined Authority also works closely
with North Somerset Council.
As a result of devolution, significant powers and funding have been
transferred to the region.

l Power to give grants to UAs to exercise their Highways functions.
l Integrated transport authority functions including:
